Flights: Depart MIA: American #431 8:10 AM March 29th

Return MIA American #272 5:55 AM April 3rd

Cost The total cost for the trip is $1700. This includes the airfare, hotel, Breakfasts, Dinners, and most attractions. Please read below about Money during the trip for additional costs.

When and Where to Meet FIRST check your bags with the sky caps curbside or use the self check-in. After you've checked in and obtained a Boarding Pass from American Airlines, check-in with Mr. Lambert no later than 6:30AM in the D Concourse. We will go through security in groups to expedite that process, so please be on time. Please bring a photo ID to get through security.

Baggage/Carry-on Items Limit your baggage to one large bag and one carry-on bag. You will have to share a room with three others and space will be limited. There are hair dryers in the rooms. You need to be able to manage your own baggage at all times. Limit the snacks to what you will consume on board. You are encouraged to bring a personal stereo with headphones or hand-held games but do not bring any items of great value, such as jewelry that you might lose or break.

Clothes A windbreaker, sweatshirt and jeans or heavy pants are needed. We will be on the bay and 50 degrees or colder is not uncommon weather. Good comfortable sneakers are necessary. We will be doing a lot of walking. An umbrella, rain jacket or poncho would be helpful in case of rain. Middle School dress-down guidelines are to be followed. No bare midriffs. No Spaghetti strings. Students will be asked to change if the clothing is found to be inappropriate.

Money Students should bring around $200 in spending money for Lunch(approx $5 per day) , Cable cars( approx $10 total), The Metreon (approx $40, Ice skating, bowling, movies and Virtual Attractions are a la carte), shopping/ souvenirs/ snacks/ arcades (approx $20 per day). Money can be placed in a marked envelope to be placed in the hotel safe for safe-keeping and withdrawn each day.
